Lensbaby is rounding out its lineup of Composer Pro II lenses with a Sweet 80mm Optic, available for Nikon F, Canon EF, Sony A, Pentax K, Micro Four Thirds, Sony E, Fujifilm X, and Samsung NX mounts. Following the success of its predecessors, the 80mm brings the tilting, selective focus Lensbaby fans have come to love to a portrait lens—now at a popular portrait focal length.
This manual focus lens features a 12-blade aperture with a range of f/2.8 to f/22, allowing users to choose the size and depth of the curved field of focus, or “sweet spot,” in their images. Shooting wide open allows dreamy environments to be created with ease, while closing the aperture allows a wider range of focus. The four multicoated glass elements are in two groups and provide a minimum focus distance of 22" to encourage photographers to get up close with their subjects. The lens consists of four multi-coated elements arranged in two elements and takes 46mm filters. The Sweet 80 Optic is compatible with the Lensbaby Optic Swap System.
