Join Allan Weitz, from B&H Photo, as he takes a quick look at the new Pentax K-S2 DSLR. Based on the K-S1, the new DSLR features a 20MP APS-C CMOS sensor with no anti-aliasing filter, for tack-sharp imaging. The body is completely weather sealed, with HDR and Clarity enhancement modes. Wi-Fi and NFC connectivity are now built in for quick uploading to your computer, portable device, or social media websites. The body offers a larger grip than its predecessor, and an analog exposure mode dial has replaced the less functional thumb control wheel found on the top deck of the K-S1. Unlike the swiveling screen of the K-S1, the K-S2’s 3" 921-k dot LCD screen is fully articulated. Auto HDR selection lets you enjoy the effects of HDR imaging without scrolling through a series of menus. A new lens, the 18-50mm f/4-5.6 DC WR RE, is compact and weather resistant, with SP coating, HD PENTAX coating, and Quick-Shift focusing. The Pentax K-S2 is available in seven spunky color combinations, two with racing stripes. We hope you enjoy the video, and invite you to view the wide selection of other instructional and informative videos at BandH.com.
