Lastolite has expanded its SkyLite Rapid line to include a trio of new kit sizes of its light-modifier panels. Now in kit form are the square 6.6 x 6.6', rectangular 3.6 x 6.6', and square 3.6 x 3.6'. All three feature a 1.25 stop diffusion panel as well as silver/white and black/white reflectors. Completing the kit is a rigid carrying case and aluminum-alloy frame to keep the setup stiff.

The primary advantage of the SkyLite Rapid system is its portability, which makes it a remarkable option for on-location shooting. A lightweight aluminum-alloy frame makes setup quick and easy without compromising stability. The different covers can be switched at any time to achieve different effects. SkyLite’s fabric need not be removed for breakdown and storage and an elastic cord runs through the frame so you won’t accidently leave parts at your location shoot or rented studio.
