The seventh lens in Rokinon's compact prime series is a long 85mm f/1.8 for APS-C and Micro Four Thirds format mirrorless camera systems. Optimized for these formats, the lightweight lens uses a 9-element in 7-group design to maximize sharpness and image quality from edge to edge. It also features High-Refractive Index and Extra-Low Dispersion glass and an Ultra Multi-Coating to keep aberrations and flare under control.
Made for APS-C and Micro Four Thirds, the lens will offer an equivalent focal length of 128mm with APS-C Sony E and Fujifilm X Series cameras, 136mm with Canon EF-M mount systems, and 170mm with Micro Four Thirds. It is quite fast at f/1.8, as well, giving photographers the ability to create images with shallow depth of field. The lens also features completely manual operation and has a rounded nine-blade diaphragm for smooth bokeh. It will come with reversible lens hood and a soft case.
