Lowepro has announced the next generation of its popular ProTactic Series of camera packs and accessories. Featuring an expanded modular system, this updated line of ruggedized carriers now boasts improved versatility, more adaptive organization, and easier access to gear—in addition to the tactical-inspired technologies that helped make the ProTactic Series one of Lowepro's top-selling product lines.
Headlining the upgraded series are the BP 350 AW II and 450 AW II backpacks. Both carriers feature the signature armored protection ProTactic packs are known for, plus a remodeled design, which includes a more adaptive interior, multiple access points, modular exterior attachments, and a convertible utility belt. The 25-liter 450 backpack is the larger unit and can hold 1 to 2 pro DSLRs (one with a 70-200mm f/2.8 lens attached); while the 16-liter 350 model can comfortably accommodate 1 to 2 standard DSLR cameras. In addition to cameras, both packs include compartments for your other gear, including lenses, speedlights, filters, handheld gimbals, select drones (e.g., the Mavic Air), laptops, and more. Both packs also include a removable waist strap that doubles as a utility belt for additional accessories, such as water bottles and tripod cups.
LowePro also upgraded the 100 AW and 200 AW lens-exchange cases and the 100 AW and 200 AW utility bags. Both lens exchange cases feature a dual-compartment design that allows them to carry two lenses, an easy-grip handle for single-handed operation, and an adjustable shoulder strap. Meanwhile, the utility bags serve as all-purpose carriers for your gear and feature customizable interiors, YKK zippers for stability and security, and built-in cable ports. The utility bags and lens-exchange cases come in two size variations to accommodate different gear.
Along with carriers, other mission-critical ProTactic accessories were upgraded, including the Bottle Pouch, Phone Pouch, and Utility Belt. Like the packs and cases, each of these accessories utilizes several tactical-grade technologies to ensure they can withstand the rigors of travel and adverse weather, in turn keeping your gear safe, dry, and secure. And each accessory integrates with the rest of the ProTactic line, so you can combine items as needed.
