Gitzo, one of the premier manufacturers of camera tripods, has introduced what the company is calling the smallest carbon fiber tripod—and small it is. The Gitzo Mini Traveler is designed for low-angle, point-of-view, and behind-the-scenes still and video capture.
The Gitzo Mini Traveler weighs a mere 9.35 ounces (265g) and can handle payloads weighing up to 6.9 lb (3 kg). With legs fully extended, you can set your camera to just less than 7" (17.5cm) above the shooting surface, or as low as 2" (5.3cm). When folded, the Mini Traveler measures 8.6" (22.2cm), making it easy to stow in all but the smallest of camera bags.
Included with each Mini Traveler is a Gitzo GH1328TQD Ball Head.
The Gitzo Mini Traveler is available in a finish choice of Black or Classic Noir Décor.
