Joby, makers of the popular and innovative Gorillapod, have released a much more traditional-looking tabletop tripod system that is much more than a tabletop tripod. The Joby TelePod Pro, TelePod 325, and TelePod Mobile feature clean and sleek designs, yet combine the functionality of a tabletop tripod, grip and boom, selfie stick, and stand in one portable design.

Joby TelePod PRO Kit

The TelePod Pro rocks a 2.2-lb payload capacity and folds down to 10" to fit in a camera bag, messenger, or backpack. Fully deployed, it is 27.5" tall. The ball head at the top has a standard 1/4"-20 mounting screw on the top for mounting a camera, speedlight, microphone, or any other compatible device on the telescoping center column. To use as a boom or selfie stick, simply extend the center column and keep the legs collapsed. They are rubberized to maximize grip and comfort.

Joby TelePod 325

The TelePod 325 is a smaller version of the Pro and has a payload of 0.7 lb, while extending to 24" and collapsing to 7.5". Finally, the TelePod Mobile is basically the 325 with the addition of the GripTight ONE Phone Mount and a Bluetooth Camera remote.

Joby TelePod Mobile

Compact, well-designed, well built, the Joby TelePod is a supremely versatile tool for the creative on the go. Do you need one? Tell us why, in the Comments section.
