A new generation of TTL-capable flashes is on its way from Phottix, starting with the Juno TTL Flash, for Canon. Those familiar with the original Juno will find many similarities here in terms of flash output. The guide number still sits an excellent 190' at ISO 100 and 200mm, the zoom head stretches from 20-200mm (or 14mm with diffusion panel), and there is plenty of rotation and tilt range for bounce-flash skills. The key change is a Canon E-TTL / E-TTL II compatible hot-shoe mount and built-in TTL protocols for Canon, Nikon, Sony, and Pentax when using supported transmitters.
Diving deeper into this newfound TTL functionality, the Juno TTL will work with plenty of camera systems when triggered off-camera by an Odin II Transmitter. The 2.4GHz radio system is very reliable and TTL Auto Switching means that regardless of the camera used with the Odin II (specifically Canon, Nikon, Sony, and Pentax models), the Juno TTL will quickly and easily switch over to support it. TTL adds the ability to meter the scene automatically and provide a balanced flash output to match ambient conditions, giving event and wedding photographers an easier setup for their shoots. This radio system also permits it to act as a commander for the Odin II Receivers, Ares II Receivers, and Indra 500, making it possible to have the Juno TTL as the center of an advanced lighting kit.
