Designed to deliver the highest standards of image quality, the Leica APO-Summicron-SL 50mm f/2 ASPH features a dozen elements in 10 groups, including a trio of aspherical elements. It’s apochromatic designation guarantees that many aberrations will be completely eliminated. Other features include all-metal construction, water-resistant Aquadura exterior lens coatings, weather-sealing against dust and moisture, and a rapid Dual synchro Drive autofocus system.
