In this video, Mia McCormick, from KelbyOne, takes a look at three new lens offerings from Rokinon designed to cover up to full-frame image sensors: the 135mm f/2.0, the 135mm T2.2 Cine, and the 50mm f/1.4. It begins with a discussion of features common to all of the lenses, including their manual focus design, the wide variety of lens-mount options, and Ultra Multi Coating to help prevent flare and ghosting. McCormick then takes a closer look at each lens, beginning with the 135mm f/2.0 and its T2.2 Cine equivalent. Optical identical, both lenses feature 11 lens elements in 7 groups, including one ED element, and 9-bladed iris. The Cine-housed version adds T-stop marking, a de-clicked aperture, and 0.8 pitch gearing for use with a follow focus. The video is concluded with a look at the 50mm f/1.4. In addition to its fast f/1.4 aperture, the lens features 9 elements in 6 groups, including one hybrid and one aspherical element, and an 8-bladed iris.
