Urban styling might be the latest trend in camera backpacks, since not everyone wants to carry a backpack that screams, “I have a camera inside!” The new Chicago Backpacks, from Manfrotto, embrace the subdued and sleek urban look and have arrived in a choice of two capacity options.
The Chicago Backpack 30 can swallow a mirrorless camera with a 70-200mm lens and a pair of additional lenses. The Chicago Backpack 50 holds the same gear, plus an additional lens.
Features include side access to your camera gear, a removable camera main compartment that can be used separately from the main bag—converting the bag to a weekend travel bag—inner flaps for storing gimbals and other accessories, external flap pockets for a water bottle and kit, and rear pocket for a 14" (30) or 15" (50) laptop. Hidden front straps can be used for strapping on gear or slinging a tripod in three different ways. There are also other hidden compartments for storing your street-shooting accessories.
