Transcend is pleased to announce the addition of two new Type B high-speed CFexpress memory cards—the Transcend 256GB CFexpress 820 Type B and Transcend 512GB CFexpress 820 Type B.
Designed to meet the demands of 40-plus megapixel camera sensors and 4K, 6K, and 8K video capture, Transcend’s new CFexpress memory cards have maximum read speeds of up to 1700 MB/s and maximum write speeds of up to 1300 MB/s for the 512GB version and 1000MB/s for the 256GB memory card, which are necessary for transferring large amounts of data quickly.
Other features found on Transcend’s new CFexpress cards include 3D NAND flash memory, an NVMe PCIe 3.0 x2 host controller interface, and up to 10,000 insert/removal cycles.
Transcend’s CFexpress memory cards are backward compatible with select firmware-upgraded XQD cameras.
