Sigma continues to add impressive lenses to its Global Vision line with the release of the full-frame 24-35mm f/2 DG HSM Art lens, which offers a constant f/2 maximum aperture and the zoom capability to cover oft-used wide-angle focal lengths. The lens is available in Nikon F, Canon EF, and Sigma mounts.

The convenience of a zoom with the optical quality of a prime is the goal of this well-built lens that utilizes Thermally Stable Composite compound for a lightweight yet durable build, with a specific resistance to the negative effects of extreme temperatures. Its f/2 maximum aperture enables effective low-light photography and shallow depth of field control, as well consistent performance throughout the zoom range. Seven Special Low Dispersion glass elements with two aspherical elements minimize spherical and chromatic aberrations and a rounded, nine-blade diaphragm help to create attractive out-of-focus highlights.

An inner focusing design eliminates rotation of the lens’s front end and a Hyper Sonic Motor provides near silent high-speed autofocus. Full-time manual focus override allows precise control of focus even in auto mode and the lens boasts a minimum focus distance of 11". This Art series lens is compatible with Sigma’s USB Dock, allowing firmware updates and focus-point adjustments, and is eligible for Sigma’s exclusive Mount Conversion Service.
