Adobe has announced major updates to two of its most popular consumer photo and video editing programs—Adobe Photoshop Elements 2021 and Adobe Premiere Elements 2021. More than a refresh of old tricks, both of these editing programs incorporate the streamlined editing and organizational capabilities of Adobe Sensei and feature major advancements over their predecessors, including step-by-step image editing guides designed to get you up and running in a snap.

Adobe Photoshop Elements 2021
Adobe Photoshop Elements 2021 includes several new features with which even pros will want to toy around. Prefer shooting stills over video? Adobe Photoshop Elements 2021 enables you to easily add motion post-capture to your still photographs in the form of animated 2D and 3D GIFs.
Adjust Face Tilt is a new portrait-enhancement feature that enables you to fine-tune the angle and position of your subject’s face, or in the case of group portraits, adjust the position of more than one face in the group. If you’ve ever looked at a portrait you took and with 20-20 hindsight said, “I wish I had asked so-and-so to turn a wee bit more to the left,” well, you can now turn so-and-so’s head a wee bit more to the left well after everybody’s packed up and gone home.

Landscape photographers now have the ability to improve their picture-taking skills by having the ability to replace skies, remove haze and color casts, or remove unwanted objects or people from a scene.

Adobe Photoshop Elements 2021 enables you to add sun flare to your stills, as well as move, scale, reposition, or duplicate objects or subjects within a photograph. And if you’re in a nostalgic mood, you can render your photographs as two-color duotones. For adding an extra touch of personalization when sharing pictures across social media, Photoshop Elements 2021 features customizable preset templates for producing greeting, birthday, and other life-event announcements for individuals or large groups of friends, family, or coworkers.

Adobe Premiere Elements 2021
The latest version of Adobe Premiere Elements packs a variety of tools for creative video enhancements, including tools for lightening shadows or blurring select outlying areas around your subject with full tracking throughout the video. You can also enhance or change colors in skies or backgrounds, create double exposures combining video within a still image, and add animated matte overlays, vignette effects, fast-blur, motion, and split-tone effects to your video clips.

Accelerated GPU performance enables you to see special effects in high-quality playback without having to first render the take. Cropping is also quicker in Premiere Elements 2021.
The right soundtrack can make a great video even better. Don’t have original music of your own? No problem—Premiere Elements 2021 contains 21 new music tracks you can edit into your videos as you please.
Adobe Photoshop Elements 2021 and Premiere Elements 2021 can also be used to catalog and back up your stills and video library by albums, keywords, tags, people, places, events, and other identifiers.
