For months, Mark Seliger was a ghost. While most of New York huddled indoors, Seliger roamed the streets, cataloging rare, haunting images of “The City That Never Sleeps,” finally put to rest.

These images are the heart of Seliger’s latest work, The City That Finally Sleeps, a moving and unforgettable look at New York during the height of COVID-19.

B&H, in partnership with Sony, is proud to support Mark Seliger and to celebrate the release of this book.

Like Seliger himself, this collection celebrates the hope and resilience of New Yorkers, showing us a portrait of humanity at its best, its most life-affirming—even when things were at their most bleak.

In that same humanitarian spirit, Seliger is donating all the proceeds of The City That Finally Sleeps to New York Cares, the leading volunteer service in New York and one of the cherished organizations working tirelessly on behalf of New York residents, including those affected by COVID-19.

B&H salutes Mark Seliger and New York Cares for their continued advocacy, and is proud to work beside them on behalf of all New Yorkers.
