In the following video, Larry Becker, of KelbyOne, presents an overview of five different advanced compact cameras, and compares some of their feature sets and imaging capabilities. Beginning with the Nikon COOLPIX P7800, Becker describes its 12.2MP 1/1.7" BSI CMOS sensor, 7.1x optical zoom lens, and 921k-dot EVF. Second up is the Canon PowerShot G7 X, which features a 20.2MP 1" CMOS sensor, 24-100mm equivalent lens, and tilting 3.0" LCD. Next, Becker covers the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX100, which features a 12.8MP 4/3" MOS sensor, 24-75mm equivalent Leica DC Vario-Summilux lens, and 4K video recording. Fourth on Becker’s list is the Fujifilm X100T, and he describes its retro appeal, 16.3MP X-Trans CMOS II sensor, advanced hybrid viewfinder, and prime 35mm f/2 equivalent lens. Finally, the video closes with the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX1, which features a 24.3MP full-frame CMOS sensor, Zeiss Sonnar T* 35mm f/2 lens, 3.0" LCD, and a Multi-Interface Shoe. We hope you enjoy the video, and invite you to view the wide selection of other instructional and informative videos at B&H.com.
