Expanding the compatibility of the popular L-478DR light meters introduced in 2012, Sekonic has just announced a pair of new meters dedicated to Phottix and Elinchrom wireless lighting systems. Featuring the same feature set as their predecessors, the LiteMaster Pro L-478DR-U-PX Series and the LiteMaster Pro L-478DR-U-EL Series light meters add compatibility to their respective lighting systems while maintaining the unique 2.7" color touchscreen LCD interface, ambient and flash metering capabilities from -2 to 22.9 EV, and range of cine and HD cine functions.

Dedicated to the Phottix Strato II protocol, the LiteMaster Pro L-478DR-U-PX Series meter allows for wireless radio triggering of the Phottix Indra360, Indra500, and Mitros+ strobes, along with the ability to configure lighting setups within four separate or combined groups. Operating across a 2.4GHz frequency in conjunction with Odin/Odin II, Strato/Strato II receivers or Atlas II transceivers, this flash-triggering protocol allows you to record and store distinct readings per group to quickly compare readings, determine lighting ratios, and efficiently switch between different setups.

For Elinchrom users, the LiteMaster Pro L-478DR-U-EL Series meter offers wireless 2.4GHz radio triggering with any Elinchrom strobe that is equipped with a Skyport receiver. Wireless control also affords the ability to make separate or combined selections of four groups and 20 channels, as well as remotely adjust power settings in 0.1 EV increments directly from the meter. The Elinchrom version also lets you measure and adjust the brightness of the modeling light for video applications and, similar to the -PX meter, readings are stored for each group to calculate lighting ratios faster.
