In the following video, Larry Becker, of KelbyOne, presents an overview of the Sony Alpha a7II mirrorless digital camera, and covers its updates and distinctions from its predecessor, the a7, as well as the other a7-series cameras. The video begins by touching on some ergonomic and physical changes, including a new metal body design, enhanced grip, and forward-angled shutter-release button. From here, Becker reviews the five-axis sensor-shift image stabilization system, and describes how it performs with a wide array of lenses. The video then segues into the updated video quality, with XAVC S support, and then covers the 24.3MP full-frame CMOS sensor, BIONZ image processor, and other key shooting attributes. The video wraps up with a brief introduction to the Sony Sonnar T* FE 55mm f/1.8 ZA lens and highlights the key points of the a7-series’ different models.
