Though screens dominate the ways in which we consume media today, Canon is making sure that those of us who appreciate physical prints can quickly get our photographs off of our smartphones, with the release of the SELPHY CP1300 Compact Photo Printer. This evolution of what Canon calls the “personal portable photo kiosk,” the CP1300 is a wireless-capable printing tool that is small enough to be packed away in a bag, for creating prints nearly anywhere you go. This model steps up from its predecessor by offering a larger 3.2" tilting LCD screen and various advanced functions, including Party Shuffle Print to create collages with multiple users.
Able to print via Apple AirPrint, direct from an SD card, or from a smart phone through the Canon PRINT app, the SELPHY CP1300 is a great option for those constantly on the go. The dye sublimation printer also offers a variety of different media sizes, including 2.1 x 2.1" square labels, 2.1 x 3.4" cards, 3.5 x 4.7" L size, and 4 x 6" postcards. The technology produces durable prints that are instantly dry and can last for up to 100 years, and works with decent speed, able to produce a 4 x 6" photo in 47 seconds. Additionally, the CP1300 can run on AC power or an optional NB-CP2LH Battery Pack.
The CP1300 is available in black or white or in a black Battery Bundle.
