With a longer, more powerful zoom (50x) than its predecessors, this long-range, all-in-one point-and-shoot gains versatility—and Canon claims its outstanding optical performance has been maintained. The SX530 HS provides built-in Intelligent IS to help optimize virtually shake-free imaging under a wide variety of conditions. It also provides enhanced built-in Wi-Fi for seamless transferring of images and videos to compatible mobile devices and social networking sites, and it allows you to fire the camera remotely using a compatible smartphone or tablet, while built-in NFC allows quick and simple pairing to compatible Android devices.

In addition to its compatibility with the optional Canon Connect Station CS100, the device lets you transfer and store images wirelessly via NFC and Wi-Fi connectivity. The SX530 HS also combines a high-performance 16.0MP High-Sensitivity CMOS sensor with the Canon DIGIC 4+ Image Processor to create the HS System that delivers excellent low-light performance. Finally, the new model is said to provide outstanding 1080p Full HD video at the touch of its dedicated movie button.
