The new Theta m15 Spherical Digital Camera from Ricoh looks almost exactly like the original ultra-compact dual-lens model, but it can now shoot Full HD 1080p video at 15 fps. Ricoh’s latest iteration of its ingenious 360-degree camera that automatically stitches back-to-back 180-degree images into a single spherical 360-degree image also incorporates an improved Wi-Fi system that transfers images to smartphones, tablets, and computers at twice the speed of its predecessor. In-camera saving is also possible, to the built-in 4GB of memory, which is able to hold about 4,800 images or 40 minutes of video.
The Wi-Fi system not only connects to smartphones and the like, but also lets you use your phone as a remote-control device. You can print out Theta images in a rectangular format, but the real fun comes when you view them on your computer or other screen and scroll through them in their full 360-degree perspective. This new Theta m15 comes in four fashionable colors: Blue, Yellow, Pink, and White.
